Berlin – The Global M&A Masters on 26th and 27th January 2009 in Berlin is the first case-study based M&A conference with global scope in Germany. With the German Federal M&A Association, represented by the chairman Dr. Kai Lucks from Siemens, as competence partner, this is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for M&A executives to share best practices and transfer excellence on a global level in the leading European economy. The conference program puts an emphasis on global project management, post merger integration and challenges in different geographic markets. The conference takes place in a strategically well placed location in the heart of Europe: Berlin, and builds on the successful M&A Masters series of last year.

M&A processes, global by nature, need constant benchmarking. Challenges can arise at different levels. Most often, they become obvious during the post merger integration and so the groundwork needs to begin with the alignment of corporate and M&A strategies. The conference addresses the whole picture with 14 carefully chosen cutting-edge case studies of globally active companies.
